Hasn't voted | Thanks Sarah for your comments on this one and you might find it interesting to know that there are a lot of peaks in Utah with mailboxes on them. Flat Top, Delano, Ellen, Santaquin, Swasey and Spanish Fork are a few peaks with them I can think of off the top of my head but there are others. Wheeler Peak in Great Basin National Park has a mailbox and Washington state has one on what is aptly called as Mailbox Peak. | | Posted Nov 6, 2008 6:42 am |

Voted 10/10 | Uh oh, Dean...I sense a new list on SP: Mailbox Mountains of the Southwest, or something like that.
I still can't get over this...that someone actually hauls a rural-route mailbox up a mountain as a summit register.
Thanks for enlightening me. I now can add a new quest to my "to do" list - Mailbox Summits.
