Impressive view to the south from Gable Mountain. Otatso Lake sits at the head of a wild cirque in the lower right. Yellow Mountain is at center. On the far left o the mountain, a few streams of rock flow down the slopes and out of view; these rocks broke off in 1914, damming Otatso Creek and thus forming Slide Lake. A good chunk of the route is visible in this photo. June 16, 2012
