"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Good kid mountainThis is good accomplishment for kids, only about a quarter mile with 500 feet elevation gain; the first picture on this page tells it like it is. Views are great, but not that much better than driving the road. We had 20-25 mph wind, my understanding is that the wind gets a *lot* stronger.

Re: Trail? There's no trail. There are several high-use areas nearby with paved paths, where rangers might talk to you if you left the pavement, but Sundance is (relatively) lower use.

from the roadDon't know if this really counts...but I did stand on top after a short walk from TRR. Nice summit! Some fun rocks to scramble on east of the summit.

From TrailridgeBecause of the recent death of my husband's daughter (now ex-husband) this was a sad day, so we decided to find an easy sunny place to celebrate his birthday.
