Sunrise at the Hotlum Glacier
ElGreco prepares to depart camp at the base of the Hotlum Glacier just after the sun rises. After a horridly windy night we were suspicious as to whether conditions would allow us to summit... luckily we were largely sheltered from the winds as we headed onto the route a short distance to the north.
