Sunrise from Near Little Strawberry Lake

Sunrise July 4, 2003, from near my campsite in Little Strawberry Basin. I will try to figure out if this is Rabbit Ears or another promontory on the same ridge. Comments as to that issue, or any other welcome.

Greetings from Arizona!

There's nothing wrong with being a valley pounder - somebody's got to do it! I LOVE your photos and Oregon shots; the Blues are very scenic. Don't know about the Rabbit Ears, however. In Utah, there's a place called Strawberry Creek & Strawberry Reservoir - we often see people herding sheep over there, and lots & lots of elk. THANKS!!!

Thank for enthusiastic comments. We are going to Utah this spring, we hope. We have tentative plans to check out Antelope Island and the San Rafael Swell. It will be my first Utah experience. From your great pictures I assume you guys have spent a lot of time in the SW.

I am thinking

we have spent TOO much time in the
SW. My parents live in n. Utah.

I believe Sp-member Dean is UP on
what's what with Antelope Island.
There's 11 islands out there in
the G. Salt Lk. - where my wife comes
from, they have over 7,000 islands.
