| Late 1970's. Back in the days I lived out in farm country, southwest of Boise, I was always taken by this place. I only managed to hoof it up to the top a few times, and of course drove there numerous times also, but the view of that part of town at the time was very peaceful. Boise's grown and changed since then. Bigtime. | |

| We usually drive up, boulder, climb, have a beer, enjoy the view and leave. The last time we took lunch and bouldering stuff and hiked up from the old pen. It was a fun day! | |

| I didn't know there was a Tablerock register on SP until today. I made my first trip up in 1963 with my brother George. I watched him climb solo and (barefoot) up the big rock we called birdshit rock in the Quarry. Later, while working on our hiking merit badges we hiked up 60 times in one summer. If we couldn't get a ride we'd walk from our house on the Bench to Tablerock and back. | |

| was the site of one of my worst bike wrecks as a kid. Also used to run up to climb, before a lot of routes were blasted. I think one of the McMansions below has the crux to AC/DC on it's front lawn! | |

| This was a fun afternoon hike. I went up the regular trail and then hiked down the quarry trail after climing another small peak to the South of Table Rock. The rocks on the south in the quarry are quite interesting and I'm sure are climed quite often. there was a lot of deer and even a herd of antelope. I'm sure I'll be back many times. | |
