South Sister on August 3rd

Natreb and I climbed it in 4 1/2 up and 3 1/2 down, not including the 2 1/2 hours we spent taking tons of great pictures and enjoying this very rewarding summit. HIGHLY REWARDING AND RECOMMENDED SUMMIT!!!!!This album is from Nartreb and my climb up to the summit of South Sister on August 3rd, 2009.

Sweet Stuff!

Wow, the South Sister looks a lot more interesting than I anticipated. How many volcano climbs is that for you this year? Great album!

Re: Sweet Stuff!

I have climbed 5 in 2009, 4 over 10000 feet and 5000 elevation gain. In a calendar year from September 2008 to August 2009 I have climbed 5 glaciated 10000 foot volcanos. It nearly was six.

Next year I would like to finish off Shasta, Glacier, Jefferson, Middle and North (maybe) Sister, and Little Tahoma, along with going up Baker, Rainier, and Hood. 2009 has been kind and it aint over yet!!!!

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
