| I was the second on what we believe to have been the 2nd ascent of the Arrowhead; the leader placed a PVC pipe summit register on top. Can anyone confirm if this is still in place? Anyway, as I recall it felt more like 5.11 than the supposed 5.9. Either way, amazing route, stupendous views, and a gnarly approach that left me hypoglycemic and semi-delirious on the hike down past Hell Roaring Lake. | ||

| From what I recall, you can place your palms on one side of the summit and your fingers on the other, like a pull-up bar. Year was approximately 1974- I wasn't keeping track- but we did summit. | |
