Istállóskői barlang (Ősember-barlang) (HU) is probably the most popular cave with free access in Hungary. Length 60m, height 16m. Since 1944 it has been protected and in 1982 it was declared a strict preserve. The first mention dates back to 1851 and the research revealed remains of prehistoric animals such as cave bear, lion, hyena, wolf, auroch, reindeer and mammoth.
