The Deichenwand vertical cliff, used for climbing !

Do you love to climb the rocks or not ? If yes, you have so under your eyes, the perfect site to practice this free-air-activity ... The rock of the Mittlere Deichenwand is having a very long and high, vertical cliff, which is frequently used for climbing and bouldering ! If you've got an excellent view with your own eyes, you can see at the right board of this photo, a small steel-box in the middle of the wall, which is including a climbing-book ! In this small book and only when you had succeed the ascension (secured climbing), you can so write your name into him, with the date of your climbing-experience ! Don't miss the access and the visit of the top of the rock : from here over, you will have a magnificient panorama on the neary Falkenburg rock-castle and deep into the Tiergarten-Halde valley (with her very horrible electrical-lines ! ). The Mittlere Deichenwand is very quiet, almost unknown and comfortable at his top ; unfortunately is the access to this rock very hard, with a small unmarked path ! Sorry ... as well than the ferns are almost completely closing the begin of the small path, which autorised you and the others hikers or climbers, of coming to the base and to the top of this beautiful rock !
