The east and northeast sides...

The east and northeast sides of Mt. Stuart as viewed from Sherpa Peak on July 22, 2001. The slabs at right are those above the Ice Cliff Glacier. The false summit is closer; the true summit is beyond. Note the general cloudiness as compared to the previous photo taken a few hours before. That inconsequential little cloud above discharged a weak cloud-to-ground lightning bolt about when this photo was taken. We decided it was nigh time to get going. Fortunately, it was the only squawk the cloud made.
