The edge of the "abyss"

I need an extender for my camera so I can get a pic showing the true drop off. No matter how I urged myself, this was as close to the edge as my brain would let my body go. Yes, I'm a wuss. Sigh.... 5-10-08

rock song back in the early
1970s called "Close to the
Edge," but you probably don't
remember it. That is a long
ways down, Dean! Too bad the
good Lord didn't bless us all
with wings. Nice photograph!!
Look at all the tiny trees down there!
