The " Hauenstein-Puppe " , without the foliage ...

The " Hauenstein-Puppe " , is the composed-name of the famous climbing-tower of the Burghalder site. This photo was taken at the end of the winter season (the foliage on the trees is still missing). I had done this photo, when the sun was almost disappeared ! In the left over-corner of this photo, you can still see this winter-sun, which is falling very fastly behind the mountain ... The base of the tower is difficult enough to reach, because the vegetation is dens and the slopes are very steep and badly degaged ... But, one time that you are arriving at the base of this tower, yourself can explode of glory : the site is very consequent (length and height), the climbing-routes are numerous and difficult / technical, the site invites you to visit him ! And, when you continue to walk along the cliffs, you can join the summital part of the rock, which is offering you, a totally preserved platform and especially, a magnificient panorama ... To see absolutely !
