Interesting story Bob. If that target was 12 feet, the pictures showing the jump really put the insanity into perspective. Actually, 100 feet is pretty nuts to start with. I've jumped from 70 feet (where depth wasn't an issue), and wouldn't have wanted it to be any higher. I could only do it 5-6 times in a day before I'd had enough. If I watched my feet hit the water and it was like getting punched in the face.
There are rocks and boulders poking out of the plunge pool all over the place. If those idiots had deviated at all they'd have been killed. What amazed me was that none of them were injured. It's one thing to jump from a ledge into a wide body of water--but to aim for a small patch like that...well, it was crazy.
