| A great hike through nice forest, visited shelter, rocky scramble near the summit. Unbeleivable views from summit, visited plane wreck just off summit. Incredibly windy/cold day for early August. Went swimming after at nearby Bartlett Falls, almost froze to death. | |

| Climbed this trail twice. Once while doing a day hike from Lincoln Gap to App Gap and once while hiking the entire length of the Long Trail. | |

| This is a nice, but VERY popular hike to the summit of Mt. Abe. It's not nearly as steep as the Battell trail, so that accounts for some of the pressure. Nice mellow hike to one of the best in the Greens. | |
