Hey William,

From my own wanderings, I took the route you mentioned on this page on my way down from Mt Temple, but upon gaining the ridge there was already a well-used climber's trail coming from further down the ridge. For people climbing only this peak, they may prefer to follow the other trail from its start:

it branches off / drops off from the main trail shortly after passing through the lower meadow (ca. 100-200 yards up the way, on an uphill), crossing a stream and then rising along the ridge crest.

I'll try to submit a map about what I mean later this fall when I am back from my trip.
