This picture was taken on 1st January 2009, after a great snowfall of about 80cm, in one day. We were in Monte Rosa range, down one a long fantastic slope ( 2000m of vertical drop ).

Yeah!Love this one. I'm going through your skiing shots now, and really enjoying them. My family came from Italy to the USA about 80 years ago.

Now I'm waitin' anxiously for next snowfall in my area (Italian and Swiss Alps - Central and Western areas) expected on next sunday and monday. So I'm praying Olaf, the old god of snow, to make me happy.
