Road trail until climbing the southeast face  Sucess!

#1 05-09-24 W/Lana. The bugs on the lower half of the road/trail were quite nasty - biting gnats, I believe. Recommend climbing the peak from the SSW aspect as it is gentler than going straight up the south face where the rock outcropping is. A herd of bison was commandeering the northern section of the road/trail as we descended so we opted to steer clear of them by going more or less straight down. By so doing we passed fairly close to Mushroom Springs. This was after doing Stringham Peak and before adding Buffalo Point to our day's work.

The Sentry  Sucess!

I took advantage of the cool weather and went to Antelope Island. It was a windy day but the bugs hadn't arrived yet. This was a nice hike and the view from The Sentry is very good.
