the spur coming down to the...
the spur coming down to the "Precipizio degli Asteroidi" (at the right end) - on its south wall the first italian route of 7° degree : The route in question is Oceano Irrazionale. FA: I. Guerini and M. Villa, July 2, 1977. Though it still commands respect, it's not clear Oceano was the hardest route in Italy at that time, but Guerini and Villa were the first to break the taboo by rating their route VII.
