The summit cairn (or what's left of it) with Bald Mtn in the background. I spent a wonderfully isolated 30 minutes here which is very rare, and then I discovered why. I spoke to another hiker on my way down and was told that everyone was in line for tickets to see the Dahli Lhama who is coming to Sun Valley in September! I felt very fortunate to be a member of a religon who's church is the mountains! 7/23/05
