so close i could taste it..but our water had been frozen for a while, and we were very dehyrdated, and the amount of snow compiled with our lack of snow shoes had been incredibly exhausting up to this point; so we made the wise decision at just over 12,000' to haul ass off the mountin in fading daylight and temperatures...
