This belongs to the Goell...
This belongs to the Goell Group too: the relatively
low but wonderful towers of Barmstein: Grosser
and Kleiner Barmstein. Situated over the valley of
Salzach, in height only 851 resp. 838 m, they are
climbing towers of extraclass, particularly in times
when the high mountains are covered with
masses of snow. You can climb there between
UIAA II and UIAA X! Here the S-ridge (II) of Kleiner
Barmstein, a nice little but exposed climb (5
pitches) for bon vivants and beginners.
