This is all that's left of...
This is all that's left of the glacier on the east side of the mountain. The mountain cirque is pretty shaded but lack of moisture this far east of the Cascade crest precludes glacier growth in today's times. Photo taken Aug. 22, 1999 from the summit of Mt. Maude.
