This is (or was in July 1995)...
This is (or was in July 1995) the log crossing over the North Fork Sauk River. The log was about 18 inches in diameter and I was too chicken to go across it with my heavy pack. The water was deep at the place with the strongest flow. So, I searched upstream for another log. And I found one.
