This is the first view of the...
This is the first view of the remainder of your route when you finally make the 2,800-ft slog up to a south ridge of Maroon Peak. I'm assuming many have turned away at this point but sometimes even this daunting view isn't enough to keep the inexperienced off ths dangerous mountain.
