This is the second gully. The...
This is the second gully. The summit is up and to the left. The gully would be straightforward though steep in summer. But it was still exposing much rock between sections of powder over ice. In short, we deemed it too dangerous so we took to the SE arĂȘte instead (visible at far right). Though it too was exposed the snow conditions were better. November 28, 2004.
