This rocky promontory (Pt....
This rocky promontory (Pt. 4560+ on the SE side of the peak) became our back up plan after we failed to surmount the Class-5 constriction of the Hourglass Gully. We failed because the rock was wet from frost runoff. Oct. 16, 1999.
