Tita Piaz, the Devil of the Dolomites
Giovanni Battista Piaz, aka Tita Piaz (Pera di Fassa, 13-10-1879/Pera di Fassa, 6-8-1948) here photographed with his inseparable dog and his bike was a Fassan climber called the "Devil of the Dolomites" in reason of the audacity of his climbs between the late Nineteenth century and early Twentieth.
