This tower is dedicated to Riccardo Spinotti, a local alpinist of the SAF ( Società Alpina Friulana, my alpine group ) died in tragic circumstances climbing the north face of Cima di Riofreddo on july 1, 1928.

It's very impressive indeed, and very rarely climbed. And the colours of this dolomitic rock are fantastic...
