We are close to the end of Winkel valley. While on the left the long walls of Monte Cavallo / Rosskofel are accompanying us, on the right we see two towers, Torre Winkel and Torre Clampil. Here is Torre Winkel, 2040 m, its South pillar hosts a difficult route, opened by E. Lomasti and S. Piussi in 1977 (UIAA grade VI, V, 160 m).
