Another Sunday... another ascent of Flattop Mountain. This makes it three in a row. I think I've had my fill for a while.

This time we ascended the right-most of the North facing Flattop Couloirs. Hourglass Couloir and the left-most had some pretty serious cornices but the right-most couloir was cornice-free. The snow was pretty deep, but I hardly broke a sweat with Eric doing pretty much all the trail breaking and Fabio packing down the steps further for the fatties among us (i.e. me).

After ascending the couloir we descended Ptarmigan Snowfield and hiked back out to the car the same way we approached.
