"Turquoise Hill" (191.8m) is the only locality in Poland of appearance of turqouise in quartzite slates. This hill is situated several kilometers toward EN from the main massif of Sleza. You see, it is time for blooming of rape fields (yellow). "Turqoise Hill" on the left and Sleza on the right. 7:00 AM, Friday, May 2, 2008.

Re: 191,8m ?

Yes, Tomas.
This hill is located on Silesian Lowland nearby Sleza Mt. and is formed by glaciers. It is composed mainly of sand and clay, however, from lower levels the mother rock, quartzite slates, are introduced into this glacial sediment.
Nice to hear you!!!
