Route Description
The Two Mile Trail connects Stone Cabin Creek, at the eastern base of Broad Mountain, to the Powell Creek, below or south of Spechty Kopf. You can start from the Greenland Road and hike up to the connecting ridge where the road meets the trail. The first part of the trail will go to your left. You want the right branch if you're heading for Spechty Kopf. The trail continues for about 0.3 miles to the east side of the mountain. From here it's about a hundred yard walk to the summit. Views extend to the east and west with beautiful scenery. To return, bushwack down to Powell Creek road via the Two Mile Trail, or go back the same way you came.
