Upper couloir

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Upper couloir
The upper couloir widens out but doesn't get any less steep. We stuck with climber's-right to exit on the summit ridge. This side seemed lower angle and safer. Climber's-left would be exciting as well. Blanca Group in far background, Sand Dunes in valley, Crestolita across basin

We kept eyeing Crestolita all day. Nice page! Such a sweet mountain, although dwarfed by the crestones.
