Upper half of the normal route

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Upper half of the normal route
Allalinhorn as seen from Feechopf (3888 m). On can see the whole upper half of the normal route (notice all the people going up) and hidden crevasses on the route. In the middle a group of ski-mountaineers taking a short break at Feejoch (3826 m). One can also see a rocky ridge leading from Feejoch to Feechopf (this ridge can be climbed as a part of a long traverse over Alphubel going from Feejoch over the SE ridge to the summit of Alphubel, and then down via the normal route). April 29, 2007.
