Upper Slide Lake

Upper Slide Lake is not a true lake but rather a wide meander of the Gros Ventre River that has been mostly cut off from the main channel. It is about 22 miles along the Gros Ventre Road and is a popular fishing and boating spot. The Gray Hills are behind the lake, and their northern terminus is here.
