Re: Love it!You have butterflies? I've seen some of those shots of you dealing with the slot canyons and the downclimb/rappels. This isn't as steep as it looks, just the angle of the camera.

Re: Love it!I never thought I had a fear of heights but when my toes are standing at an edge... like at Toroweap Point in Tuweep... and then looking down... I do GET butterflies! ;p
Slot Canyons it's not so bad. You just have to trust the anchor, the rope, whoever set it up, then hold on and usually back into the drop... so you never see it comming. ;)

Great shot!I really need to experience the world of crampons, axe, and gaiters. This photo gets my mind going in that direction.

Re: Great shot!It is a different world but not too far different than the stuff that is just above us here in Utah valley. I generally carry my crampons and ice axe with me when I venture into the snow laden peaks. Gaiters are nice when wearing crampons, they might save you from getting yourself on a mistep. thank you for the vote and comment.
