One of my favorite places, the heart of the Picket Range, North Cascades, WA.
Taken from the summit of Mt. Fury. This was a spectacular morning view to wake up to after 3 night stranded on the summit (in a floorless tent pitched on snow!) during a freak August blizzard. That's me in the photo. The photo was taken by Donn Venema, August 2008.

Luna or Fury?

The summit doesn't quite look like Luna unless you walked from the summit. But the same Pickets I remember are right behind you making me believe that this was taken on Mount Fury.

	Hasn't voted	Well it was quite a blizzard, we were packed into a floorless tent, running out of food and fuel, and only the summit register for reading material. But it was worth the view we woke up to that third morning!
