A Little About Me
Although new to SummitPost, I've been hiking (mostly in the Washington Cascades and California Sierras) for over 45 years. I've topped out on a number of peaks including Rainier, Whitney, and others. Currently I'm challenging myself with class 2/3 scrambles in the Cascades. I'm keen on native mountain plants/flowers and I'm guaranteed to slow down any hike while trying to get a good closeup shot of some flower. This year's Sierra trip included a 10-day adventure into Big Margaret Lake and the Silver Divide, along with my hiking buddy sierraman.
