A Few Words: Currently, I am probably sitting in a cubical at a big accounting firm. It's pretty easy to imagine why I am on summitpost. I got into rock climbing in high school and have since gotten very interested in mountaineering. A few years ago I took a trip out to Seattle and climbed Mt St Helens (a very nice trip, but mainly a snowy, uphill hike). In January '06 I took a trip out to Colorado and bagged Bierstadt. That summer I took a month long roadtrip of the US. I was able to travel some 9,000 miles, visit 17 states and 8 national parks. The trip was planned around a stop in the Pacific Northwest where Mt Rainier was my first foray into legitimate mountaineering. I summitted on July 19th under perfect conditions. Since I've traveled to Gannett (making it within about 300' of the summit after so many miles). And since I've decided I had to try something new, get closer to the mountains and find that sanctity on a much more regular basis. So I moved out to Golden, Colorado in October-07.
