OfflineA Little About Me
I try to get out of the city and into the local mountains as often as my schedule allows. Its a blessing to have the San Gabriels practically in my back yard. I also love my annual trips to Kings Canyon National Park.
I haven't done many summit hikes, but I am trying to expand on my list. I hope to have the Mt. San Antonio area peaks completed this year.
I just got back from a trip to the Big Island of Hawai'i where I took a day to summit Mauna Kea. Up until that point I had always been a hiker/camper, but being on that summit was amazing and makes me want to keep pushing to summit as many mountains as I can. Its quite addicting I must say!
I love being in the mountains, its as if you can see the face of God in them. Its a beautiful, dangerous, spiritual, ever-changing place. The more time I spend in them, the more I realize its never enough.
