A Few Words: I grew up playing on the rock formations around my grandparents cabin near Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. Staring at the peaks of the Never Summer range. The whole time thinking I was inventing something new only to find out it was bouldering and its been done long before me. Climbing has ever since been in my blood, although school, work, and other people's opinions have kept me from it from time to time. I settled on what really gets me up in the morning. Whenever the contrived routine of modern life doesn't trap me in its tentacles of responsibilities like work and school and all the other things that make my head hurt i head for the hills. Mountaineering, climbing, canoeing, backpacking and just reading a good book with an inspiring backdrop all become by escape from the core of the neurosis that consume reality. The tranquility and peacefulness with the simultaneous sheer power of the mountains reminds me of how small i am and how to reclaim my soul.
