A Little About Me
I live in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, on the Washington side. It is a hiker's paradise with over 100 miles of hiking trails, and at least 3 mountains within easy driving distance, Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and Mount St. Helens. Mount Rainier is only a few hours away as are all the peaks in the Oregon Cascades. Wilderness areas abound and I've only scratched the surface hiking them for the past 25 years or so that I've been hiking. I'll try and remember some of the hikes I've done in the past and hopefully add some more in the future.
I've been on a quest to get healthier, hiking as much as possible and walking everyday. So far I've lost over 50 pounds and logged several hundred miles. I finally was able to see Mount Shuksan in the North Cascade Mountain Range, in person. I had painted that mountain years ago and had always wanted to see it.
