I would like to contribute some information on Myanmar Himalaya. There are countless peaks in the Northern part of the country where expeditions of various length and difficulty can be arranged. Most of the Northern Myanmar is still largely unexplored and unmapped. Due to lack of information most people don't know anything about this part of the world. The highest peak of Myanmar and Southeast Asia is Mt Hkakaborazi 5882m. It has only been summited by 2 people. It is still required to obtain travel permits to travel to Putao region but permits can be easily obtained by local specialist tour operators. Mountaineering is still at its infancy and even normal (shorter) trekking trips in Putao are very adventurous and involve often cutting trail in the jungle and crossing rivers. We employ many of the most experienced mountain and wilderness guides in the country and will be happy assist with any trip plans. -Mika
