Looking for alpine climbing and hiking partners for western climbing trips. My bucket list includes all 50 state high points, and my wife would rather do casual hikes than rope up. I have lots of hiking experience, but limited alpine exposure. I do rock climb in the Midwest and have gear available.  I have completed a few 14'ers in Colorado (Longs, Elbert, Pikes), and also enjoy multi-day hikes.  I stay fit and would not be opposed to a light and fast summit approach.  I like to give myself a few days at elevation prior to summit attempts to get acclimatized since I hail from the flat Midwest.
