A Little About Me
I'm retired from thirty years of college and university teaching, and at 74, I'm retired from mountaineering.
I've spent a lot of summers in the Oregon and Washington Cascades, and explored the Cascade Pass region before the park (first trip in1964). Climbed Forbidden in August 1968; explored the Northern Pickets in 1970; much bushwhacking and scrambling, much awesome country.
As I said, I'm retired, but I love the mountains.
