A Little About Me
My name is Shahid Hussain and I was born In Skardu, Pakistan. I grew up playing and exploring the Karakoram Mountains of Pakistan. I started Hiking and rock climbing at the age of 11, my passion for Mountainering and love for mountains brought me to Switzerland to Study in an international boarding School in the Swiss Alpa. in Switzerland I learnt Ski, Snow Boarding, leading large groups in the alps, organising Hikes, reading maps and Rock Climbing from the world leading instructors. I had the privilege to ski, snow board, Hike and did rock climbings in the mountains of Switzerland, Italy and Austria. After my education I moved back to my home town Skardu in The Karakoram Mountains and started working in the Tourism Industry. I am the 3rd generation working in the Tourism industry now. My father and grand father booth served as Mountain Guides in The Karakoram mountains of Karakoram. In 1996 my father opened his Tour Company, Trango Adventure. Trango Adventure is a Government Licence and active Member of PATO and BATO. We run the company as a family business. We have visited every corner of Gilgit Baltistan and Pakistan.
I splits my time between Pakistan and United Kingdom, where I spends my winters in Europe, attending world leading exhibitions in WTM London, ITB Berlin, FITUR Spain & visiting Clients. In the Summer you will find me in somewhere on a mountaineering tip in the Karakoram Mountains.
