OfflineA Little About Me
Well, I'm heading back to my old stomping grounds ... good ol' California. Actually I'll only be staying temporarily in the SF Bay area on a mid-grad school internship (unfortunately my wife is stuck finishing grad school back in Cville, VA). I've just finished my second full year of technical climbing. This last year was spent primarily learning trad. This fall I'd like to get back to God's country and climb as many technical Sierra Peaks as time allows. Backcountry routes in the light/fast style are what I am most interested in.
Interests for Fall/Winter 2008: Climbing in the Palisade and Evolution groups, Whitney MR winter ascent, any Sierra ice (alpine or water), Yosemite action?? --- I'm easily swayed by good ideas and instruction.
Lead Trad: 5.9+ (Seneca Rocks 5.7+)
Follow Rock: 5.11
Boulder: V2
Follow Ice: WI4
I am actively seeking climbing partners for Sierra trips most weekends October-December 2008. PM me or email if you are interested.
These are the states in which I have either traveled or been elected governor.
