The enchanted valley
Up in the mountains only 20 km. away from Trento the "Mocheni valley" is known because it is a German speaking island. It remains in your heart because of its wonderful view of nature colors succession.
When hiking or mountain biking in this area you are constantly accompanied by the Lagorai mountain range as well as a multitude of typical farms with their striking wooden roofs. The idyllic natural scenery consists of mountain torrents and meadows covered by a sea of flowers, extending up to Lake Erdèmolo at an altitude of 1.700 m asl and the Rifugio Sette Stelle, where you can also stay overnight. However, about five km from Palú in the direction of the lake, there is the mining museum “Graub va Hardimbl“, which has already existed in 1500.
