The spectacular view northwest from the top of Iceberg Notch. The broad, rounded summit at left is Ahern Peak, which perches directly above its namesake pass. The next high point on the ridge, rising behind Ahern Glacier, is Ipasha Peak. At center is Mount Merritt, with its east face blanketed by Old Sun Glacier. The point immediately right is precarious Natoas Peak. Two beautiful lakes in the Belly River drainage are visible; nearest is Helen Lake, with Elizabeth Lake farther back in the distance.
